Verify your business
A RekberPay Enterprise workspace starts in the sandbox the moment you create it. Deals, approvals, payouts, API keys and webhooks all work there with test money. Live funding and real payouts open once RekberPay has verified your business (KYB). This guide walks through that path, from sign-up to Live.
Every endpoint used here is described in Enterprise KYB.
1. Create the workspace
Sign in to RekberPay (or create an account), then open enterprise.rekberpay.com/register. The form asks for the legal name, the name your team will see, the type of business and the NIB. The dashboard calls POST /v1/enterprise/register, which creates the workspace with you as its owner, in the sandbox, with kyb_status: "not_started".
The types of business are pt, pt_perorangan, cv, firma, koperasi, ud (sole proprietor) and foreign. A foreign company gives its home registration number instead of an NIB, and its country.
2. Fill in the four steps
The Home page shows a Verify your business card with your progress. The checklist has four steps, and every change is saved as a draft:
| Step | What you give |
|---|---|
| Company | Legal name as on the deed, NIB, NPWP (15 or 16 digits), registered address, industry, expected monthly volume, website |
| People | The directors, the authorised signer and every beneficial owner holding 25 percent or more (Perpres 13/2018), each with an NIK or passport number |
| Bank account | The payout account in the company's own name |
| Documents | The documents for your type of business, listed below |
Documents by type of business
| Type | Company documents |
|---|---|
| PT | Akta pendirian, latest akta perubahan (if any), SK Kemenkumham, NIB, NPWP badan, proof of the bank account |
| PT Perorangan | Statement of establishment, registration certificate from Kemenkumham, NIB, NPWP, proof of the bank account |
| CV, Firma | Akta pendirian, latest akta perubahan (if any), NIB, NPWP, proof of the bank account |
| Koperasi | Akta pendirian, latest akta perubahan (if any), SK Kemenkumham, NIB, NPWP, proof of the bank account |
| UD or sole proprietor | NIB, the owner's NPWP, proof of the bank account |
| Foreign company | Company registration certificate, tax ID certificate, proof of the bank account |
Every director and the authorised signer also give a KTP (or a passport for foreign nationals). When the signer is not a director, add a letter of authority.
Files can be PDF, JPG, PNG or WebP, at most 10 MB each. Upload a file first (POST /v1/enterprise/kyb/uploads), then attach it to a slot (POST /v1/enterprise/kyb/documents). Images are re-encoded on upload, which removes location data. PDFs with a password, scripts or attachments are refused, so print such a file to a new PDF first.
3. Submit
When all four steps are complete, submit with POST /v1/enterprise/kyb/submit and an Idempotency-Key. The workspace's kyb_status becomes pending, and you get an email and a notification in the dashboard. We review in 1 to 3 business days. The answer's review.due_by is the end of that window.
4. The review
A reviewer at RekberPay checks every field and document. Automatic checks help them: the NIB, NPWP and NIK formats, whether the same NIB, NPWP or bank account is already on another workspace, screening of the company and people names, and the file contents. These checks never reject on their own.
There are three outcomes, each sent to the workspace owners and admins by email, in the dashboard and in your support inbox:
- Approved.
kyb_statusbecomesverifiedand the workspace switches to Live by itself. Live funding is confirmed by RekberPay when the money arrives, and payouts go to your verified bank account. - Changes requested. The reviewer marks the exact fields or documents to fix, each with a reason. Your application reopens as a new version with
change_requestslisting them; fix those items and submit again. Earlier versions are kept. - Rejected.
decision_reasonsays why. The workspace stays in the sandbox. Saving the application again starts a new version if you want to reapply.
Verify a counterparty
In Counterparties, choose Send verification link on a counterparty (POST /v1/enterprise/counterparties/:id/kyb-invite). Send the link to your contact there. They sign in to RekberPay (no workspace needed), fill in the same four steps and submit. RekberPay reviews it in the same queue, and the decision sets the counterparty's kyb_status, which shows on the counterparty and on its deals.
Privacy
NIK and passport numbers are encrypted at rest and only their last 4 digits are ever shown. Documents are private and are opened only through 5 minute links signed for one person; every view by a reviewer is logged. RekberPay keeps KYB data for 5 years after the business relationship ends (the anti-money-laundering record-keeping period), then deletes it.
